Zrmanja river with its crystal clear waters wiggle through a 200m deep canyon, creating on the way many beautiful limestone waterfalls, of which the 11m high “Veliki buk” is the most impressive one. Zrmanja is known for its inaccessible canyon, which can only be experienced by boat or kayak/raft. Kayaking is ideal for everyone up for an active vacation and good fun in nature. The difference between kayaking and rafting is that when rafting there is a skipper in every raft, and when kayaking skippers follow the group according to relay race regime, whereby all checkpoints on track are secured.
The beauty of nature in Bled and Ljubljana

Bled is mixed od glacial and tectonic origins. It’s maximum depth is 29,5 m / 97 ft. The lake surrounds Bled island which has several buildings, of which the main one being the pilgrimage church dedicated to the Assumption of Mary.

Our Lady of Medjugorje
